Alberto Del Rio made his big return to WWE last month and defeated John Cena to become the new US Champion. The only problem with that is, Del Rio is still the current AAA Mega Champion. Many fans have been wondering how this situation will play out and if Alberto Del Rio will return to AAA to drop the belt.
According to F4Wonline, AAA’s Dorian Roldan revealed that although Alberto Del Rio wants to return so that he can drop the belt, his contract with WWE won’t allow it. AAA will now hold a tournament to crown a new Mega Champion.
