Daniel Bryan’s absence is certainly felt when he’s not around and if WWE won’t clear him to compete apparently it might be a good idea to get used to not seeing him around because he’s likely to go elsewhere and actually wrestle. But he is still the SmackDown GM which is why it was so puzzling that he missed the Fastlane pay-per-view.
Shane McMahon sent him home early a few weeks ago so he could have dinner with his wife Brie and daughter and we haven’t seen him since. It’s unlikely at this point that Daniel Bryan will be cleared to compete at WrestleMania which is a huge bummer. So unless he’s a part of the storyline then it looks like he can miss a show or three without much of a fuss being made about it.
In all honesty, it would have been nice to have D-Bry around at Fastlane because Shane McMahon single-handedly screwed both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn out of the WWE Championship. That might not have gone down if The Bearded GOAT was around.
But Byran still had a great time because that’s what he does wherever he goes unless he’s meeting with WWE’s doctor apparently. Both Bryan and Brie were at Daniel’s cousin Billy’s wedding and you can see by the little strip pics from a photo booth they were all smiles even if they had to miss Fastlane to be there.

Alexa Bliss was pretty worried about Asuka showing up at WrestleMania and taking her Raw Women’s Title. Now she doesn’t have to worry about that anymore because The Empress Of Tomorrow showed up at Fastlane and challenged Charlotte Flair to a match at the Show Of Shows.
Through her relief, Bliss was able to send out a little message to Asuka saying that she is a smart girl for not wanting to face her.
But Alexa might need to worry about the fact that her actual opponent for WrestleMania could be even more ready to take her title and she could also be The Rock’s cousin.
