undertaker

The Undertaker is without a doubt one of the most legendary wrestlers of all time. He’s had an incredible career, and he owes his success to his gimmick, which fans have fully embraced over the years.

The Undertaker gimmick is certainly not an easy one to pull off, and one could argue that if Mark Callaway wasn’t the man to take on the gimmick, it could have been a complete disaster. Luckily the gimmick is the complete opposite of a disaster, as it will likely go down as the most iconic persona in wrestling history.

Sunday night at WrestleMania 33, The Undertaker battled Roman Reigns in an intense match which saw Roman Reigns pick up the win after hitting Taker with the spear. After the match Taker was given a grand send off, and although WWE hasn’t made an official announcement, the belief at this point is that Undertaker is retired.

One man who certainly seems to believe that The Undertaker is retired is none other than music legend George Strait. The musician posted a video on Twitter featuring Taker talking about music “fresh off his WWE retirement.”

Fans haven’t seen Taker break character too often over the course of his career, but now that his in-ring career seems to be finished, it looks like anything is fair game.

Taker was nice enough to say some kind words about George Strait and what his music has meant to him, and if you can handle it, you can check out a video of the WWE legend looking alive and well, as opposed to dead and terrifying, in the clip below.
