Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been the best of friends, and the worst of enemies in the past, and ever since the two stars crossed paths in NXT they’ve been battling back and forth in a war that seems like it may never end.

Owens and Sami have had some excellent matches together on the main roster, and both stars are currently on the SmackDown Live brand. When Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens both made the jump from Raw to SmackDown, Keven made it clear that he was not happy to see Sami.

There are many issues that still need to be resolved when it comes to the Zayn/Owens friendship, but it looks like the two stars may have started building a bridge at the WWE live event in Montreal on Saturday.

Sami Zayn found himself on the wrong end of a beatdown courtesy of WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers, but Kevin Owens shocked the fans when he made his way down to the ring to save his rival.

Kevin got a huge pop when his music hit, and he cleared the ring then faced off with Sami. The Singh Brothers attacked once more, and that’s when things got really strange.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens actually teamed up for a brief period of time, then they faced off again before KO left the ring.

It’s certainly strange to see Owens and Zayn team up, but then again WWE does consider Canada to be bizzarro-land, so seeing unusual team ups at live events is never out of the question.
