The stars of WWE have had to make many changes to their lifestyles due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it’s no big secret that some names have tested positive for COVID-19.

Earlier this week it was announced that Steve Cutler had been released from WWE, and his girlfriend Deonna Purrazzo confirmed they both tested positive for COVID-19 in January.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon was “livid” when he found out about the positive COVID-19 test, and the release was done for disciplinary reasons.

It’s believed that Steve Cutler attended a New Year’s Eve party which led to the positive test.

Vince McMahon had promised a few wrestlers, including Roman Reigns, a safe environment when he returned, and it’s being said that Cutler was around all the talent.

It was also noted that Steve Cutler was training with the “big guys class” at the Performance Center when he was released. It’s also believed that he’s the first wrestler to be released due to a positive COVID-19 test.
