Vince McMahon is without a doubt one of the most powerful people in the world of professional wrestling, and his support can make a massive difference in a wrestler’s career.
Earlier this year Shayna Baszler was called up to the main roster, and she received a big push which resulted in her challenging Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.
Unfortunately for Baszler she didn’t end up winning the title, and it appears that her push is over.
According to CageSideSeats, it’s rumored that Vince McMahon has soured on Shayna Baszler, and that she won’t be getting the push that was previously planned for her.
Asuka is the current Raw Women’s Champion, and she’s set to defend her title against Sasha Banks at Extreme Rules. There’s currently no indication that Baszler will be joining the title picture again any time soon.
