Sunday night WWE TLC aired live on the WWE Network, and several titles were on the line, but only a few changed hands.
Dean Ambrose challenged Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship, and in the end Ambrose walked out with the belt. However, the match wasn’t received well by the live crowd as they chanted “this is boring” and also chanted for Becky Lynch during the title bout.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon was said to be furious with the match.
Rollins and Ambrose have been involved in a heated feud for months now, but at this point in time it’s not known if there are plans for the feud to continue.
Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins is reportedly penciled in for WrestleMania 35, so it will be interesting to see how Seth is booked moving forward.
