tough enough

Simon Gotch was recently released from WWE, and yesterday it was reported that Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl and announcer Andrea Ocampo had also been released from the company. Despite the report, it appears that Josh Bredl is still with WWE, as Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reached out to the company and confirmed he’s still under contract.

Josh Bredl won the 2015 season of Tough Enough. He was the male winner of the competition and he has since adopted the ring name Bronson Matthews. The female winner of the competition, Sara Lee, was released in 2016.

Last week Impact Wrestling returned to Universal Studios to tape several upcoming episodes of their weekly TV series, and Bob Ryder apparently got into a backstage altercation with the Jarretts.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the argument was started after Karen Jarrett got into it with Bob Ryder over a certain hotel room that he was allegedly told to book but didn’t. Once Jeff Jarrett got involved the situation escalated and Bob Ryder eventually left the building.

Impact Wrestling President Ed Nordholm issued the following comments to Pro Wrestling Sheet regarding the incident:

“It’s an internal matter and all resolved to everyone’s satisfaction.”
