Sasha Banks and Naomi have been a very hot topic since they walked out of Raw last week and WWE recently confirmed that both Superstars have been suspended indefinitely. It’s also been reported that Naomi’s contract is set to expire in a few months and Sasha’s deal is rumored to be up soon as well.
It’s not known at this point in time if WWE will be freezing Sasha and Naomi’s contracts, but it’s expected that the situation will get worse before it gets better.
Regardless of where things go from here it seems unlikely that we’ll end up seeing Sasha Banks in AEW anytime soon, or ever for that matter. However, current AEW star Britt Baker made it clear during an interview with Forbes that a bout with Sasha Banks is a dream match for her.
“Since it’s a pretty hot topic right now, I’m going to say Sasha Banks.…I think she is one of the top draws in all of WWE. She’s such a superstar, she’s such a good wrestler. She’s definitely somebody that I would love to wrestle.”
Britt Baker will be facing Toni Storm in a semifinal match for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and she had nothing but praise for her opponent
“Toni Storm is a star. We really got lucky that she fell into our hands. She is arguably one of the best female wrestlers in the world. She looks like a rock star. She is a rock star.”
