Impact Wrestling has lost quite a few stars since the new regime took over. The Hardy Boyz left and returned to WWE at WrestleMania. Drew Galloway left and made his way to NXT, and Sunday night Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis joined the SmackDown Live brand when they showed up at Money in the Bank.

Now it looks like more names are on their way out the door, as PWInsider is reporting that Gregory Shane Helms, aka the Hurricane, Al Snow and Pat Kenney, formerly known as Simon Diamond will all be leaving the company once their contracts expire later this month.

All three names had been working backstage as producers, but they reportedly haven’t been used since April. Impact found themselves in a situation where they had seven producers, and according to the report, the company decided not to renew their deals for financial reasons.

We recently spoke to Gregory Shane Helms on Still Real Radio, and we asked him about a possible return to WWE. He said that he’s been paying attention to WWE’s cruiserweight division, but noted that he can’t engage in any discussions until his contract is up.

“You never know. I’m back down around 205 now. I’m actually under 200 for the first time in forever. We’ll see. I still got a little contract with Impact that I can’t really have no conversations about going anywhere else until that contract’s up. But I watch it, I pay attention.”

Helms also confirmed his departure on Twitter.
