The Shield reunited on Raw last night more than three years after the trio went their separate ways back in 2014. After Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns delivered their trademark triple powerbomb to The Miz, it was later announced that the trio would take on Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match at TLC
The Hounds Of Justice later arrived to save Matt Hardy from Braun Strowman before they triple powerbombed The Monster Among Men through the announce table. Strowman was later added to their TLC match because of this.
It seems that Rollins and Ambrose’s night wasn’t over when the cameras stopped rolling last night, as the duo defended their Raw Tag Team Championships against two of their opponents at TLC in the form of Cesaro and Sheamus.
The match only lasted around six minutes before Ambrose secured the victory with Dirty Deeds. Rollins then took the mic and talked about Indianapolis holding some great memories for him and it being The Shield’s home, the trio debuted in that arena, they then broke up in that arena and last night that reunited in that same arena.
It seems like it was a fun night for The Shield members and Rollins was even able to find and wear Kalisto’s ring attire when he left it at ringside following his match with Enzo Amore.
