Fans waited many years to see Sting in a WWE ring, and at the 2014 Survivor Series pay-per-view he shocked the world when he made his WWE debut.

Sting would go on to wrestle a few matches before he was forced into retirement due to injury, and he announced his retirement during his 2016 Hall of Fame induction speech.

Earlier this year Sting’s WWE deal expired, and this week he made his All Elite Wrestling debut during the Winter Is Coming special.

WrestleTalk is reporting that Sting is unhappy with how WWE treated him during his run with the company. It’s being said that Sting wanted to join AEW so he could do “something good” for the fans.

It was recently noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Sting wanted to do a cinematic match with The Undertaker, but WWE wasn’t interested.

As we previously reported, Sting has signed a multi-year deal with AEW, and he’s expected to be a regular on TV.
