For many years now Stephanie McMahon has been playing the main heel authority figure on WWE programming, and she became the Commissioner of Monday Night Raw when the brand split was reinstated last summer.

Stephanie ruled the WWE with an iron fist, but at WrestleMania 33 she was knocked off the ring apron and then she came crashing down through a table on the outside, and she hasn’t been seen since.

With Stephanie McMahon out of action, Vince McMahon has put Kurt Angle in charge of Monday Night Raw, but we all know that it’s just a matter of time before Steph returns. However, if there is a plan in place for her return, it appears that she doesn’t know about it because The National recently asked her when she’ll be back and she responded with the following: “Honestly, I don’t know and that is the God’s honest truth.”

Whenever Stephanie McMahon does return, she’ll have to work closely with Kurt Angle as he’s the new Raw General Manager. Steph and Kurt have a history together, and the good news is that it sounds like she’s looking forward to working with him.

“I can’t wait to work with Kurt. Kurt is so entertaining. He is really funny. I think it is going to be so much and hopefully having that interaction and this time the situation is a little bit different as I am the boss.”

  1. I actually like Stephanie, but she needs to stay gone for a while so her character get a little less stale and stays a bit fresher for a while after she comes back. The WWE is really bad about overexposure and she is certainly part of that, as are the New Day. Besides, other people need the TV time and Kurt is a breath of fresh air. I love Mick Foley, but he was lackluster for most of this GM time.
