We’re on the road to SummerSlam, and card is starting to fall into place. However, Bayley’s dreams of winning the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam were crushed earlier today when WWE announced that she will not be competing at the biggest party of the summer due to injury.
Bayley was originally set to face off against Alexa Bliss, but now that Bayley has been pulled from the event, Alexa’s next challenger will be determined tonight on Raw. Two triple threat matches are set to take place on Raw and the winners will then face off for the right to challenge Alexa Bliss for the belt.
PWInsider is reporting that one of the triple threat matches will be Mickie James vs. Nia Jax vs. Dana Brooke. The other triple threat match will be Emma vs. Alicia Fox vs. Sasha Banks.
WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will also be making an appearance tonight as he and Paul Heyman are currently scheduled to be guests on Miz TV.
