This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live was taped at the O2 Arena in London, England, and another title match was added to the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
During the tapings SmackDown Live General Manager Paige announced that Carmella will defend her Women’s Championship against Asuka at the event.
The New Day also defeated The Bar, so The New Day will be able to choose one member of their team to compete in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Becky Lynch defeated Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a triple threat to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank match, and it was also announced that next week Samoa Joe will face Big Cass, and Billie Kay will face Lana in MITB qualifying matches.
