NXT’s second night of their mini-tour took them to the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It didn’t look like there were many seats that didn’t have an ass in it for this action packed NXT event. But, before the show even started, The Glorious One had a special message for the fans who were going to fill the venue in Asbury Park.

Oney Lorcan lost a match to Eric Young, and although the leader of Sanity ended up going over in this contest there was no shortage of selling on his part.

As previously stated, Eric Young ending up pulling off a win in his contest against Lorcan and here is proof. All I can say is: “GOT IT!”

Ember Moon defeated Daria Berenato in one of the first contests of the night. You might remember Daria from Tough Enough, but tonight Ember Moon remembered her as the girl that she beat in Asbury Park.

Team DIY challenged the Authors of Pain for their newly won NXT Tag Team Titles. Although they were unsuccessful, the crowd was thoroughly excited to see #DIY.

The Perfect 10 was on the show in Asbury Park as well. Although there was no sighting of him serving hot chocolate like the previous night in Philly, he was still way over with the New Jersey crowd.

Asuka was in the building and she put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Mandy Rose, yeah, the one from Tough Enough. Even though Mandy might have her gaggle of eye-rollers that follow her because she came from a reality TV show, it is important to note that she’s obviously been working out in the ring as proof from this tweet.

Asuka did get the upper hand and win the match. And as always, The Empress of Tomorrow’s kicks looked stiff AF.

The main event of the night was a tag match pitting Shinsuke Nakamura and Kassius Ohno vs. Bobby Roode and Andrade Cien Almas. Needless to say, there were more than a few people excited by the magnitude of talent in the ring at the same time.

In the end, Nakamura and Ohno ended up going over in the main event to send the crowd home very happy. This is only the second night of the tour, it seems that NXT’s popularity is growing more and more with each tour. One thing is for sure, anyone who says that NXT isn’t as big since names like Balor, Joe, and Bayley jumped to the main roster, there’s an entire crowd in Asbury Park that would probably disagree.

There were a few more tweets that were pretty excellent, we just couldn’t figure out a way to squeeze them in:
