On June 2, 2014 Seth Rollins made a choice. He turned on The Shield and he aligned himself with Triple H and The Authority. Although it was hard for fans to see Seth turn on his former Shield brothers, there’s no denying that his alliance with Triple H paid off big time.

In the months that followed The Authority backed Seth Rollins up whenever he needed help and he ended up winning the Money in the Bank briefcase. He later went on to cash in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 31 to become the new WWE Champion.

Triple H was clearly proud of Seth Rollins and all he was able to accomplish during his time with The Authority, and Triple H took Seth under his wing. They became close, but everything changed when Triple H turned on Seth Rollins back in August of 2016 and helped Kevin Owens win the Universal Championship.

After Triple H turned on Seth Rollins, he disappeared, so Seth went looking for him and he hijacked the show at NXT Takeover: San Antonio. Triple H answered Seth Rollins a few days later on Raw, but it was all a big set up as Samoa Joe attacked Rollins from behind and re-injured his knee.

Now Seth is sitting on the sidelines, but he’s letting the world know that he hasn’t forgotten about Triple H. Although nothing has been confirmed by WWE, Seth Rollins is expected to recover in time for WrestleMania 33, which means we will like be seeing The Architect face off against The Game in a few weeks.

Rollins sent Triple H a message when he posted the following on Instagram: “You know how they say you only hurt the ones you love? Well, it works both ways.”

One thing’s for sure, Seth Rollins is not only ready to play the game, he’s ready to win.

"You know how they say you only hurt the ones you love? Well, it works both ways."
