For many years Seth Rollins and Jon Moxley worked closely in WWE, both as members of The Shield and as rivals. But their time together officially came to an end when Jon Moxley left WWE for AEW earlier this year.
During a recent panel Seth Rollins opened up about his current relationship with Jon Moxley and noted that he recently sent him a text.
“I texted him on his birthday, which was a few days ago, and wished him well. I hope that he’s good. He seems to be doing well in AEW and New Japan. I wish nothing but the best for him, and his lovely wife, and their great dog.”
Rollins added that Moxley texted him back and said “Thanks brother.”
When the moderator of the panel noted that Moxley’s reply was straight to the point, Rollins said, “he’s short.”
During a recent interview Jon Moxley was asked if he keeps in touch with The Shield, and he had the following response:
“You get in the bubble. You’re busy. I mean, not really. Not so much. A little bit. You know, text Roman a little bit here and there. But he’s super busy. I mean, they’re so busy in the bubble and stuff, you know, and I’m busy, too.”
