rusev

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live featured a match between Randy Orton and Rusev, and if Rusev had managed to win he would have joined Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, unfortunately for Rusev he didn’t win, as he was put down by an RKO.

Rusev’s failure to claim a victory on Tuesday night left one spot open on Team SmackDown, and Shane McMahon announced earlier today that John Cena will be returning to the blue brand to join the team.

Rusev posted his reaction to John Cena joining the team on Twitter saying sarcastically that Cena earned the spot fair and square.

As far as Cena’s status for the pay-per-view is concerned, he seems thrilled to be joining the blue brand as he said that he’s ready to answer the call whenever he’s needed.

  1. I believe changing cards for Survivor Series are changing favoritism as well.

    like
it was a 100 percent one way favorite match in favor of Brock Lesner. and perhaps people only wanted to see Jinder get a beat up and thats it. Now Styles vs Lesner is perhaps the HOTTEST match of the card.

people were confused between USOS and The Shield, although most of the people wanted The Shield to win the fight, but with the card change, there is no better heel team than “The USOS”

what else we got exciting for the Survivor Series.

4 horse women of current era in WWE, Banks and Bayley against Charlotte and Becky.

a decade old rivalry getting a new life: Shane vs Kurt

and we are gonna see Nakamura vs Balor.

now, back to the topic. I would have prefered Owens (or Russev) over Boddy Roode in blue team. Since Team Raw is having much more power house in the form of Strowman and Joe, Team Smackdown need someone wicked, cunning, sharper and smarter. although they have one in the form of Randy Orton, but if they would have added Kevin Owens in the mix, you can only imagine if Orton and Kevin would have worked together their evil genius minds.
