clash of champions

We’re only a few weeks away from the WWE Clash of the Champions pay-per-view and so far only two matches have been confirmed for the show.

The King of the Ring finals are set to take place at the event, and it was confirmed earlier this week that Bayley will defend the SmackDown Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair at Clash of Champions.

A few other matches have been teased on WWE programming over the last few weeks, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the following matches are currently planned for the card:

WWE Universal Title Match
Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman

WWE Title Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton

SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
The Revival vs. The New Day

Raw Women’s Title Match
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks

WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Shinsuke Nakamura w/ Sami Zayn vs. The Miz

It’s also possible that Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns could be added to the card.

As of right now there are no clear plans for the US Title, Cruiserweight Title or WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

The WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, September 15.
