elimination chamber

2017 has come and gone, and we’re a few days into the new year, and a few weeks away from the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The Royal Rumble will be a co-branded, show but it’s been a few months now since the stars of Monday Night Raw have been featured on their own exclusive pay-per-view.

Raw hasn’t had a pay-per-view since TLC in October, and the next Raw exclusive event will be Elimination Chamber which is set to air on the WWE Network in February.

The Elimination Chamber match has always been a fan favorite, and there have been rumors of a big title match at this year’s show making the rounds on the internet.

A photo showing a picture advertising an Elimination Chamber match with Braun Strowman putting the Universal Title on the line against Brock Lesnar, Big Cass, Cesaro, Roman Reigns and Finn Balor apparently surfaced on a TV station in South Africa.

However, the photo came from a YouTube video which was posted by a fan several months ago and it can be seen below.

Sorry folks it doesn’t look like this match will be happening next month, and looking at the circumstances, it can’t happen as Big Cass confirmed recently that he’ll likely be out of action until WrestleMania.

Braun Strowman will have his chance to win the Universal Title when he faces Brock Lesnar and Kane in a triple threat match at the Royal Rumble, but the belief at this point seems to be that Brock will be walking into WrestleMania 34 with the belt.
