ronda rousey

Stars like Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have both found success in the worlds of MMA and professional wrestling, and now Ronda Rousey is making the switch. Ronda officially signed her WWE contract at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and she’ll be wrestling in her debut match at WrestleMania 34.

CM Punk is another star who attempted to crossover when he made his UFC debut at UFC 203 back in September of 2016, but Punk lost his first match in short time.

It’s been over 4 years since CM Punk left WWE, and Ronda Rousey recently told Metro that she would love to see him return at some point, but she respects him for following his dreams.

“I think everybody on Earth would love to see him back in WWE, and I would completely fall all over myself and be honoured if he wanted to be involved with me in any way, shape or form. But also, it’s not all about everyone else. It’s his life and it’s about him. He’s doing what he enjoys, what he’s passionate about and what brings out the best of him.”

As a former UFC Champion, Ronda Rousey has become very close with UFC President Dana White over the years. However, Rousey indicated that she has a very different relationship with Vince McMahon at this point in time.

“Dana is one of my best friends and is somebody who I can call up any time and say let’s go for dinner, or drinks or even something completely random like asking him to fly to India, and he’d consider it. I don’t even have Vince’s number! It’s a very different relationship, I highly respect Vince and very much appreciate the opportunity he’s given me but it’s more like, if I can get a handshake from him and him telling me I’ve done a good job, that totally makes my day.”

You can catch Ronda Rousey in action when she teams up with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday, April 8.
