roman reigns

For the past few years now WWE has been pushing Roman Reigns as the top star, and Roman is set to be featured in another big WrestleMania match for the fourth year in a row at WrestleMania 34.

Roman’s push hasn’t gone as well as WWE officials likely hoped, as some fans feel he’s being shoved down their throats, so they’ve responded by booing The Big Dog.

Reigns recently appeared on the Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg podcast, and he talked about the hate he gets but noted that he doesn’t spend his time wondering why people dislike him.

“I think there is a lot of different things you can chalk it up to I’m sure,” Reigns said via Wrestling Inc. “In life, everyone wants to see you do good, but not too good, you know what I mean? Once you pass that threshold of doing really well for major success, then I think the questions, possible jealousy come out and that is when negativity starts showing its face, but if you are strong in your convictions and know who you are, you have to be bulletproof to that.”

The former WWE Champion went on to say that he doesn’t really care whether the fans cheer or boo him, because he’s getting a strong reaction regardless.
