In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Seth Rollins’ injury, which was caused when Rollins went down due to a choke finisher from Samoa Joe, is believed to be a torn MCI and he will be out of action about eight weeks. This means that WrestleMania is a possibility, but it is not definite.

Rollins will still want to do it under any circumstances, but this is not the same WWE that let other superstars from the past risk further injury, or possible legal consequences by performing injured just because they said that they could go.

It was also noted that a new match in development for the WrestleMania pay-per-view is John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse. Internally a lot of people were said to be “rolling their eyes” at the prospect of this angle, but since there is a lot of talk that this could be Nikki’s last match (although that’s not confirmed) this seems to be the way they might go. Some have also mentioned that since a common theme of Nattie’s rants against Nikki are that Cena will never marry her, it’s possible that Cena could propose to Nikki at the show.

We’re officially on the Road to WrestleMania, but is it off to a rocky start? On this week’s episode of Still Real Radio we’re talking about what’s to come over the next few weeks and more. Feel free to check out the latest episode below, and if you like what you hear please subscribe to the show on iTunes.

  1. So Cena is going to finally propose without any surprise factor? Highly doubt it. That’d be the worst way ever. “Are you excited, Nikki? John is going to propose after your match at Mania. Try to look surprised!!” GTFOH
