rock

The Rock is one of the most successful wrestlers of all time and he’s also one of the most famous actors on the entire planet. Rock managed to become the highest paid actor of 2016, so he must be doing something right.

Over the years The Rock has worked with the best of the best inside the squared circle and in front of the camera in Hollywood, so you could say that he has an eye for talent. Rock recently took to Instagram to let the world know that Samoa Joe is one star who he’s had his eye on for a while.

Samoa Joe has worked hard to make a name for himself and all his hard work finally paid off when he made his big WWE main roster debut a few weeks ago. Joe is currently on the receiving end of a monster push and it looks like it’s only a matter of time before he wins gold in WWE.

The Rock seems to think that we’ll be seeing Joe win the biggest prize in the industry someday as he recently posted the following on Instagram:

“Samoa Joe reminds me of that rare legit tough MF throwback style of wrestler.
Happy for him and his family. It’s his time. He’s earned it and one day we’ll be referring to him as WWE World Champ.”

Been following this man's wrestling career for years now. I'm very happy to see him (finally) in the WWE making a global name for himself. Many wrestling and fight historians will attest to this, that at one time in 1970's, pro wrestlers were some of the biggest and toughest men on the planet. Well before UFC and MMA made its worldwide footprint, there was a hard core wrestling style derived from "Catch wrestling" which then spawned lots of shoot styles in wrestling training. Samoa Joe reminds me of that rare legit tough MF throwback style of wrestler. Happy for him and his family. It's his time. He's earned it and one day we'll be referring to him as WWE World Champ. Keep kickin' ass Uso. #SamoaJoe #FutureChamp #Backstage #RAW

Samoa Joe is certainly no stranger to championship gold and he became the first ever two time NXT Champion during his run with the brand.

Do you think Joe has what it takes to win the big one? Sound off in the comments below.
