Back in the day The Rock made the jump from wrestling to acting and most people figured he would succeed, but not many thought he would make it as far as he has. Nowadays Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is not only one of the biggest wrestling stars of all time, he’s also one of the biggest movie stars on the planet right now. The Rock has held many championships in WWE, he’s dominated the box office and now he’s getting his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Rock will be part of the 2017 Hollywood Walk of Fame Class as part of the film category and he is in good company. Other honorees for film from the Class of 2017 include but are not limited to, Amy Adams, Jason Bateman, Goldie Hawn, Chris Pratt, Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo and Rita Wilson.
The honorees for television include, but are not limited to, Tyra Banks, Andrew Bower, Lee Daniels, Hugh Laurie, Eva Longoria, Wolfgang Puck, Carrie Russel, Sarah Silverman and more.
The honorees for music include, but are not limited to, Ice Cube, NSYNC, Hall and Oates, John Legend, New Edition and more.
