This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw had just as much going on behind the curtain as it did in the ring. The WWE Universe got to see The Rock before and after the show, but a lot of people may not be aware that Stone Cold Steve Austin was backstage during the show too.

The Texas Rattlesnake hasn’t been seen inside a WWE ring since Wrestlemania 32. He hasn’t appeared on WWE programming at all since his lackluster interview with Dean Ambrose over the summer. The WWE Universe is wondering if his visit was for something much bigger.
The picture below was posted by Pro Wrestling Magazine, which showed that Austin was backstage during Raw this week and started the speculation that something is being planned for him at WrestleMania 33. A match is still extremely unlikely, but another role could be in the cards.

However, Sportkeeda is reporting that Stone Cold was really just visiting friends backstage during a big WWE show in Los Angeles. Apparently, there isn’t anything in development for Austin at WrestleMania right now. With several weeks to go before the big show, that doesn’t mean WWE won’t figure something out.
