This week’s episode of SmackDown Live was the go-home show for TLC, and it featured a first time ever match between Daniel Bryan & Mustafa Ali, and Charlotte Flair wrestled Asuka in a WrestleMania rematch that closed out the show.
Originally Naomi was supposed to face off against Mandy Rose this week, but the match didn’t end up happening.
SmackDown Live General Manager Paige was later asked why the match didn’t happen, and she blamed it on The Miz, but it looks like there may have been another reason why Naomi vs. Mandy was pulled from the show.
It was recently reported that several WWE Superstars are ill at the moment, which is why Finn Balor is out of action, and Alexa Bliss’ segment had to be changed this week on Raw.
According to CageSideSeats, Mandy Rose also revealed that she’s been sick via Snapchat, and her illness is believed to be the reason why her match was pulled from SmackDown on Tuesday.
Paige did announce after SmackDown that the match has been moved to next week’s show, but whether or not it will actually happen remains to be seen.
