Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the toughest competitors on the WWE main roster, and his in-ring skills have helped him capture the Intercontinental Championship.
Sami Zayn is now working as Shinsuke Nakamura’s mouthpiece, and it sounds like this storyline could be heading in an interesting direction.
WrestleVotes is reporting that one direction that was pitched for the Nakamura/Zayn storyline is to have it resemble the Kevin Owens/Chris Jericho storyline from a few years ago.
The idea would be for the storyline to lead to a big blowoff match, but only time will tell if WWE goes in that direction.
One of the ideas I’ve heard when the Zayn / Nakamura storyline was decided upon was to eventually resemble that of the Jericho / Owens friendship from a few years ago, leading to a big time blowoff match. However, I’d be surprised if this story lasted all the way thru to Mania.
