The TNA X-Division Champion coming out of this year’s Destination X event will have the opportunity to cash in his X-Division Championship for a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Since the inception of this idea both Austin Aries and Chris Sabin have gone on to be successful in becoming TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Rumor has it that the X-Division title may be changing hands soon due to the fact that Sanada is leaving the company before the end of the year.
