WrestleMania 35 is quickly approaching, and so far only a few matches have been confirmed for the card.

Brock Lesnar will be defending his Universal Title against Seth Rollins, Buddy Murphy will be defending his title against the winner of the Cruiserweight Championship Tournament, and Ronda Rousey is currently scheduled to defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair.

Of course, Becky Lynch is set to face Charlotte Flair at WWE Fastlane on Sunday, and if she wins she will be added to the Raw Women’s Title match at WrestleMania.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plan for the WrestleMania 35 main event was for Charlotte Flair to face Ronda Rousey in a singles match. A Universal Title match involving Roman Reigns was also set to be one of the two headliners.

Obviously a lot has changed in a year, and the women’s match reportedly changed forms many times.

It’s expected that Becky Lynch will be added to the Raw Women’s Title match making it a triple threat at WrestleMania 35.

Are you glad that WWE switched up the original plan? Sound off in the comments below.
