You might remember a few weeks back when Stephen Amell started feuding with The Miz on Twitter while Stardust was out of action. That’s because the original plan for SummerSlam was to have The Miz team with Stardust to take on Nevillr and Stephen Amell.
The feud between The Miz, Ryback and Big Show ended up getting delayed due to Ryback’s staph infection. The delay ended up pushing back their triple threat match from Battleground to SummerSlam which is why Barrett replaced The Miz.
