A few weeks ago on Raw, Bayley challenged Charlotte for the Women’s Championship and in the end it was Bayley who walked out with the gold. Many fans were shocked to see Bayley win the belt, as most people had assumed that she would be winning the title at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that originals plans did indeed call for Bayley to win the title at WrestleMania and defend it at Payback, but obviously plans changed.
Bayley’s victory on Raw was seen as controversial because Sasha Banks gave her a big assist. This week on Raw, the Women’s Champion returned the favor when she helped Sasha Banks score a victory over Charlotte. Meltzer also speculated that Sasha’s victory over Charlotte on Raw could be an indication that Charlotte will be winning the title back at Fastlane.
Charlotte’s pay-per-view win streak is still intact, so it certainly wouldn’t be surprising to see Charlotte win the belt back at Fastlane. After all, the company did follow a similar pattern when Charlotte and Sasha were passing the belt back and forth during their rivalry.

As of right now the plan for WrestleMania 33 is still for Bayley, Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Nia Jax to face off in a fatal four-way match with the Raw Women’s Title on the line.
