The NXT Universe is just as diverse and vibrant as their main roster counterparts and if you’ve ever been to an NXT live show then you know what I’m talking about. They’ve handpicked top names in indie wrestling from all around the world and everyone is there for a reason.

Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly dominated ROH and New Japan Pro Wrestling as ReDRagon for a long time and soon found themselves in NXT alongside fellow ROH and NJPW alumni Adam Cole to form Undisputed Era.

I won’t spoil anything coming up on NXT television but needless to say, it’s good being a member of the Undisputed Era right now. They’re prominently featured on the television product and deservingly so. Now it looks like there might be a slight snag in their plans if reports from Sunday night’s house show in Indianapolis Indiana are any indication of things.

Apparently, Bobby Fish hurt his knee somehow during their match against Heavy Machinery and they had to rush to the finish without him. Fans in attendance noted the ending the match seemed improvised but Fish appeared legitimately injured.

After being checked on by WWE’s medical personnel he was helped to the back but he wasn’t walking all on his own as evidenced by the photo below provided by a fan who was in the crowd.

Let’s hope things aren’t bad for Fish because this is the last thing he needs. As with any injury, nobody wants to get put on the shelf. But as one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish really needs to stay healthy to continue a very strong storyline. So hopefully, he gets a good prognosis from the doctors when they get a chance to evaluate him.

Thankfully, if they do have to alter the NXT Tag Team Championship match at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans they will have time. But it might be a little premature for that kind of thinking just yet as we cross our fingers for good luck.
