Johnny Gargano has been one of NXT’s top stars for a few years now, but the current NXT Champion is reportedly dealing with an injury at the moment.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Gargano has been out of action due to a knee injury, which is why he he’s been helping produce NXT house shows in Florida.
The injury is apparently ok, and his NXT Title match with Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: XXV isn’t in jeopardy.
However, it’s not clear when Johnny Gargano will be back in action following NXT TakeOver: XXV on June 1.
The last house show Johnny Gargano worked was on March 8, so it’s possible that the injury happened back in March.
Since then Gargano has worked Adam Cole in a match at TakeOver during WrestleMania weekend, and he also worked a few TV matches for NXT.
