It was a huge weekend for Nikki Bella, not only did she team up with her real-life boyfriend John Cena for the first time at WrestleMania, but her team also got the win and ‘her man’ then proposed to her in front of 75,000 screaming fans. This will likely be the last time the WWE Universe sees both Nikki and John Cena for a while now since Nikki Bella updated fans yesterday afternoon on Twitter:

Nikki is reportedly out for a lengthy period of time after she re-aggravated the neck injury that put her on the shelf and caused her to undergo neck surgery last year. John Cena is also taking time away from WWE now as he takes part in various other filming projects for the next few months.

With WWE’s power couple now off SmackDown Live programming for the foreseeable future, it makes sense that Vince McMahon has announced a Superstar shake-up for next week because SmackDown Live will be needing to bring in some star power now that the brand is missing two of their biggest stars. We’ll have to wait and see who ends up on SmackDown.
