natalya

Natalya has been part of several storylines throughout her illustrious WWE career. The second generation Superstar realizes how important it is to get her face on television and she’s been game for anything.

But as Natalya reached the echelon of the SmackDown Live Women’s Division by capturing the SmackDown Women’s Title at SummerSlam it seemed to make it all worth it.

The Queen Of Harts recently spoke to WWE.com where she discussed what is next for her career. She expressed an interest in having a rather grueling match with a WWE newcomer who has more than a few submissions in her repertoire.

“Somebody that I’d love to compete against is somebody that actually helped me become better with submissions and catch wrestling, and that’s Shayna Baszler. She was in the Mae Young Classic finals with Kairi Sane, and she just impresses me so much. We both have a passion and love for wrestling, and Shayna’s taught me a lot. But I would love to go toe-to-toe with her in a WWE Iron Man Match and put our submissions to the test. She would be a dream opponent for me.”

At Hell In A Cell, Natalya is set to break Trish Stratus’ record for most PPV matches of any woman in WWE History. She opened up about this accomplishment and how much it meant to her.

Natalya has taken a lot of bumps during her first 43 PPV matches and Charlotte Flair is sure to give Nattie a run for her money during her 44th encounter.

“I feel like I’ve been so lucky that I’ve been able to pursue my dreams for so long in WWE. I’ve gotten to wrestle and compete and perform against some amazing women, but now that WWE is really embracing this Women’s Evolution, it feels like I’m finally starting to do what I was born to do and that’s wrestle. I’m finally starting to hit my stride. I’m finally starting to, I feel like, do the best work of my career. That’s also attributed to the fact that we’ve got some of the best women wrestlers in the world right now in WWE.”
