Asuka has been running through the NXT women’s division ever since she debuted there. So it only seems logical that for NXT TakeOVER: Toronto they would have to go off the grid for her next opponent.
Mickie James will be making her return to the WWE brand for the first time since 2010. Mickie went on to become a three time TNA Knockouts Champion and also pursued a country music career. Her single “Hardcore Country” was used as her TNA entrance music.
James will have her work cut out for her as she will go one on one with NXT’s female buzzsaw Asuka.
