Sunday night the annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view aired live on the WWE Network, and the event was action packed. It featured some memorable moments, and one of the moments that got everyone talking was the debut of Mike Bennett, and the return of Maria Kanellis.

The happy couple appeared at the pay-per-view as a duo, and Mike was announced as Mike Kanellis. The couple will be joining SmackDown Live, and although this will be Mike’s first run with WWE, he’s pretty familiar with many of the stars on the WWE roster.

Matt Hardy is a man who both Mike and Maria have worked with in the past, and Hardy took to Twitter to welcome the duo to WWE.

When The Hardy Boyz returned to WWE at WrestleMania 33 in April, they won the Raw Tag Team Titles in their first match back. The Hardys aren’t the champions anymore, but they are part of the Raw brand. The current SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions, The Usos, talked a little trash about legendary team at Money in the Bank on Sunday night, and Matt took notice.

During the Money in the Bank kickoff show, The Usos answered a fan question asking which legendary tag team they would like to face, and when they brought up The Hardy Boyz, The Usos said, “they don’t want none.”

Matt Hardy responded to the comments by telling the current SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions that eventually The Hardys will be coming for their titles.
