matt hardy

It’s no big secret that Matt Hardy and TNA, Impact Wrestling, Global Force Wrestling, or whatever name you prefer to call the company nowadays, aren’t on very good terms. After The Hardys parted ways with the company earlier this year, officials started sending out cease and desist letters almost immediately in order to prevent the brothers from using their Broken Hardys gimmick.

For months now both sides have been battling over the rights to the gimmick, and the battle has not been pretty at all.

Jeff Jarrett believes that Global Force Wrestling owns the rights to the gimmick, and Matt Hardy believes he owns the rights as well. Matt recently took to Twitter to talk about The Final Deletion, and he noted that The Hardys funded the filming of TFD, and they also filmed it on their property.

A fan asked Matt Hardy if he would still be fighting for the gimmick if he was in a situation where ownership was claimed by WWE.

Another fan noted that if the gimmick had been developed in WWE, Matt wouldn’t have been funding the ideas himself.

That’s when Matt decided to praise WWE, and he also took a shot at TNA for paying wrestlers late.

It’s a shame that it’s come to this, with both sides taking shots at one another on social media, but it doesn’t look like this battle is going to end any time soon.

On this week’s episode we’re talking to Simon Grimm, aka Simon Gotch about what’s next for his career and more.
