A few months ago Matt and Jeff Hardy parted ways with Impact Wrestling, but instead of going straight to WWE, they jumped right into a feud with the Young Bucks in Ring of Honor. The feud concluded at Supercard of Honor the night before WrestleMania 33 when the Young Bucks managed to defeat the Hardys in a ladder match and win back the ROH Tag Team Titles.

After the match the Hardys put the Bucks over and told them that they’re leaving the future of tag team wrestling in their hands.

The Young Bucks have walked their own path as they’ve worked hard to make a name for themselves on the independent scene, and they are often asked if they’ll ever sign with WWE. The current ROH Tag Team Champions aren’t closing the door on a possible WWE run in future, as they responded to Matt with the following:

  1. No, the Young Bucks do not need the WWE. They are doing fine where they are. They have a successful merchandise business that they run, that if they were to go to the WWE, they would only get a small percentage of what they sell. Also, they would have to work close to 300 dates a year with WWE, they may work about half of that now.
