Some friendships are fun while they last and others aren’t too fun, to begin with. But the union of Enzo and Big Cass was one full of laughs and high spots. But it also had its share of low spots too as the popular pair never seemed to snag any tag team gold. These Realest Guys In The Room might very well go down as the most popular tag team to never win gold since The Rockers.
Big Cass finally had enough of Enzo and unloaded on him in a verbal assault a few weeks ago after it was revealed he was the mastermind of the backstage attacks against Enzo and himself in the previous weeks. Big Cass concluded his break up speech by kicking his little buddy’s head off.
The next week Big Cass swerved us all when he made it appear he was reuniting with Enzo after patching it up like brothers. But instead, Big Cass decided to solidify his heel turn by clotheslining Enzo inside out. It was a violent display but it was necessary to give Big Cass that push into heel status. We just wonder how different his new entrance music will be as an even further departure from his Certified G persona is sure to begin.
Enzo Amore is never one to back down from a fight even though he doesn’t win many on his own. The two are now booked for a match at WWE Great Balls Of Fire on Sunday and hopefully, WWE won’t relegate this match to kickoff show status.
Big Cass was always earmarked as the future top star in WWE and Enzo has just been the energetic dude bouncing around and spouting fire on the microphone. Only time will tell where either of these two end up on their own. But one thing is for sure a new match has been added to Great Balls Of Fire to help send them down their own unique paths.
It was fun while it lasted and you can’t teach that.
