Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest names in combat sports, and ever since she got physical with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon a few years ago at WrestleMania 31, it’s been rumored that WWE officials are interested in bringing Ronda in to work a match. The speculation regarding Ronda’s WWE future has been heating up over the past few weeks, and Rousey threw gasoline on the fire when she filmed a segment where the WWE Horsewomen confronted Ronda and her Horsewomen.
During the confrontation Ronda Rousey told the WWE stars to name the time and the place, but the place and time has yet to be named. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that an angle could take place at the 9/12 live finale for the Mae Young Classic in Las Vegas. It’s been rumored that Rousey will participate in a Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match at Survivor Series that would lead to a singles match at WrestleMania.
The two names being talked about as possible opponents for Rousey at WrestleMania include Stephanie McMahon and Charlotte.
Fans didn’t see Samoa Joe on Raw last week, and he didn’t appear on this week’s show either. The reason why is because Joe has unfortunately been sitting on the sidelines due to a knee injury, and it’s being reported that he’s expected to return at the end of October.
