ronda rousey

There have been a lot of rumors circulating regarding Ronda Rousey possibly wrestling a match in WWE, and it’s no big secret that the company has been hoping to work with her for a few years now.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Ronda Rousey has been training in the ring with Brian Kendrick, and she’s not just training for the fun of it. There have been rumors of Ronda being a part of Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen angle, but WWE’s end game appears to be a singles match for Rousey at WrestleMania if they can make it happen.

No word on who her opponent might be if it happens, but the original plan following her appearance at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 was to do a Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon match.

The Revival were called up during the WWE Superstar Shake-up a few months ago, and it seemed like they would be a welcome addition to the tag team division on Monday Night Raw. However, their run on the main roster has been plagued by bad luck, as Dash Wilder injured his jaw shortly after they debuted and he was forced to sit on the sidelines for several weeks.

When Wilder returned it appeared that things were looking up for The Revival, and they started a feud with The Hardys which was supposed to lead to a match at SummerSlam. Unfortunately Dawson tore his bicep at a WWE live event, and now he’ll be out of action for a few months.

Scott Dawson underwent surgery earlier this week to repair his torn bicep, and the hope is that he will be able to return to the ring in December. It’s likely that Wilder will just be put on the shelf while he waits for his partner to return.
