lana

There is a lot of hype surrounding Lana’s return to WWE television. They’ve been running promos hyping her eventual return on SmackDown Live ever since the superstar shake up. Lana is coming soon, we just don’t know when.

Even though her return date hasn’t been announced yet, WWE gave fans a little taste of what they can expect when she does return. New pictures of The Ravishing Russian have been released and they’re not bad.

We can only assume this is going to be her new wrestling attire and can’t wait to see her take someone down with a headlock in that sheer number on the right. Both of these looks would certainly fit into the new dancer gimmick she seems to have been repackaged into.

Lana has wrestled before but her ring attire was all purple and very flattering, to say the least. It looks like WWE’s seamstresses outdid themselves this time if this is really what she’s going to compete in. It gives us another big reason to look forward to her television return.

I have a feeling we’re going to be glad WWE didn’t give Emma this gimmick when we see how well Lana pulls it off.

Before Dean Ambrose was the Lunatic Fringe we know and love he went by the name Jon Moxley and was even more insane than he is now. In fact, some of his early death matches are hard for us to watch and we’ve seen everything.

A decade ago he was still doing his thing even though he hadn’t made it to WWE full-time just yet. Well, Dean actually did make it to WWE as Jon Moxley and wrestled Val Venis on an episode of Sunday Night Heat on January 21st, 2007.

This match is outstanding if just for Ambrose’s facial expressions. His pink hair isn’t half bad either. We hope you enjoy this blast from the past as much as we did.
