A few weeks ago Kurt Angle announced that he would be wrestling his farewell match at WrestleMania 35, and he picked Baron Corbin to be his opponent.
Quite a few fans have pushed for WWE to book John Cena as Corbin’s replacement, but it doesn’t sound like it’s going to happen.
Kurt Angle recently addressed his farewell match while speaking with Gorilla Position, and he said that he was hoping his WrestleMania opponent would be John Cena.
The WWE Hall of Fame went on to say that he wanted Cena to end his career, because he started Cena’s career, but it didn’t work out.
Kurt then teased Cena’s status for WrestleMania when he said, “I love John and I know he will have a WrestleMania match. I’m not sure if they announced it yet, but I’m almost positive he’s gonna be there.”
