kurt angle

It’s been a long time since fans have seen Kurt Angle wrestle inside a WWE ring, but that’s all about to change on Sunday. Fans originally thought they would be seeing The Shield in action in the main event, but that’s no longer the case as Roman Reigns has been pulled from the pay-per-view.

Kurt Angle will be replacing Roman Reigns when he teams up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to take on The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman and Kane in a tables, ladders and chairs match. Ever since Angle returned to the company earlier this year he’s made it clear that he wanted to wrestle for WWE once again, and now he’s getting his wish.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion took to Instagram after WWE broke the news to say that it’s true, it’s damn true.

“Is it true??? Oh It’s damn true! Your Olympic Hero will be wrestling along side of The Shield at #TLC this Sunday. Be sure to watch. #yourolympicheroisback”
