Konnan who was recently a guest on the latest MLW podcast said that he spoke to Jeff Jarrett this weekend and while Jarrett was evasive, he said it was an accumulation of bad things that led to his TNA departure.
Konnan also said that Jarrett plans on making an announcement January 6th or 7th, this week, about his new project. Konnan speculated Jarrett is getting involved in a new wrestling promotion with Toby Keith. Keith wasn’t named directly but it’s clear they were talking about him.
Jarrett also reportedly told Konnan that TNA is in bad shape.
