Last week on Raw it was announced that Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Big Cass and Roman Reigns would face off in a fatal 4-way match with the Universal Championship on the line. Before Raw went live this week WWE also announced via Snapchat that the fatal 4-way would be an elimination match.
The match was action packed from bell to bell and Big Cass was the first competitor to be eliminated. Cass had a good showing in the high stakes match, but he was eliminated after Seth Rollins kicked him in the head and then Kevin Owens followed up with a Frog Splash.
Roman Reigns was the second man to be eliminated. Roman speared Seth Rollins on the outside of the ring and then Triple H returned out of nowhere and beat Roman down, he then woke up Rollins and Rollins pinned Roman Reigns.
Triple H then threw Kevin Owens back in the ring. Then Triple H turned on Rollins and hit him with the Pedigree. Kevin Owens then pinned Seth Rollins to become Universal Champion.
Triple H then congratulated Kevin Owens, and he stared down Mick Foley and Stephanie before leaving through the crowd.
Kevin Owens then celebrated in the ring as the fans chanted, “You deserve it!”
