This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired live from Madison Square Garden, and it featured some big moments including a face off between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, and an Edge vs. Seth Rollins rematch.

Fightful Select reports that originally Kevin Owens was set to appear in a segment with Happy Corbin, but the segment was cut from the show in the afternoon. It’s also being reported that original plans called for Liv Morgan & Toni Storm to face Carmella & Zelina Vega, but the match was also cut from the show.

Fans saw the return of the Demon when Finn Balor confronted Roman Reigns at the end of the show, and after SmackDown went off the air Happy Corbin came to the ring to confront the Demon. Corbin was attacked by the Demon and then went on to lose a dark match to Drew McIntyre.

Kevin Owens has been a hot topic as of late after he deleted a tweet which seemingly teased a reunion of the Mount Rushmore faction with The Young Bucks and Adam Cole. It was recently reported that KO’s contract with WWE will expire in January of 2022.
